War Brides Stories
War brides who came to Australia have been neglected by history.
The book I wrote in 2002 is the only comprehensive history about these thousands and thousands of women who have made their homes in our country because they fell for an Aussie.

Do you have a story of a war bride who came to Australia? You can post your story here or you can send it to me.If you have photos you would like to post then please send them to me with a description. My email address is carol@warbrides.com.au
We would love to create a photo gallery.

I am a war bride. Here is my story..... It all started in 1942.... Like all women of all eras, I was seduced by a better life. Thank the Lord there was a wall of bodies of dead young Australian men before me and the enemy. That was my saving grace. It meant I could send out more white feathers and make the young men feel shame. This gave me more time to live the good life and do Americans. I could do the swing and fornicate with as many yanks as I wanted. Oh - I miss the war years. They were the best years of my life.

Then came the 60s. Oh I hate feminism, it threatened to take away our rights to be dirty freeloading good for nothings. Thanks god the modern era has shown we can contribute nothing, fornicate whenever and demand whatever and still expect to be treated as superiors!!!!
